Unable to expand John's Video screen size to full screen.

Darren,
I'm slowly working my way through John's excellent videos but I am not able to expand the screen size to full screen. I click on the button in the lower right hand corner which should expand the screen size and the video just continues to show at the original size.

I still get the gist of what John is doing but it would sometimes be nice to see the bigger picture (literally) if possible.

Is there something that can be done or is it just my browser? (IE9)

PS my options show that Smilies are OFF but I have turned them on by default and yet they don't show when I am writing this query.

Many thanks,

Jim

It may be your computer or something Jim. They expand for me in both IE9 and Firefox.

Even with Safari it won't expand to full screen but I have found that if I chose to view them on You Tube, I can expand them that way.

Thanks for the reply.

Cheers,

Jim

Yeah might be a browser thing.

I believe that smilies have to be enabled on the board as well as in the user accounts. If the board is set to 'no smilies', no one gets them. :(

Are you watching on this site.....or are you going to YouTube and watching? You can watch the same videos directly on Youtube and you can likely make them full screeen there.

Darryl, I was originally watching them via the site but since my original post, I have learned that I can view them on YouTube and expand them as required.

Thanks for the info.
