Thank you to everyone who has been testing out the chat room. It is good to see that it is working for people. When it has been completed, I am sure there will be some scheduled events so that we don't end up having to talk to ourselves!

Thanks again for helping test it out. Others who have not tried it out yet, feel free to give it a test run and leave some feedback.

Internet Explorer uses an Active X plugin and not standard protocol for some Javascript AJAX calls needed to run the chat. I'll have a go at tackling that problem to see that we can get the chat room working for Internet Explorer as well. I am sure there are others that would like to see that happen.

It "renews" the age of the topic. In most forums, topics are listed by most recent post.
A bump gives new life to an older topic.

I have not attempted to write an IE9 version of chat yet. I will try to do that sometime soon.
