That's true. I was just thinking it would be much nicer if you could just view the video here on the site. I know that as a person who gets easily distracted online, I hate it when I have to leave a site to do something. I can be lost for hours in the big internet cloud and not get to the information I really want. :-)
It also presents some possibilities here on the forum for members who have collections of videos on YouTube as they can easily be organized into collections for easy access to other the members rather than having to read through numerous posts to find a link. (Of course this could be done using a simple link as well.)
I guess the main thing I was thinking of was making access to relevant videos easier than having to go out searching for them or creating extra work for those that have to post links to the same videos over and over. Kind of like and onsite video library.

there are a few youtube options built in to phpBB. likely Sean will just have to check a box in the Admin Control Panel...

You can now insert YouTube videos directly into a post by using the [youtube ]YouTubeID[/youtube ] bbcode.
