Setting the time

Post by naccoachbob »

I was confused by the "current time" and had to do some math to figure out to convert from GMT to local. But in the control panel it's easy to change settings to show your local time.
Not sure if this has been addressed elsewhere, but thought I'd put it out here for those who haven't seen it.
Go to User Control Panel on the upper right of this screen.
Click on Board Preferences under the Options section.
Choose My Timezone
And also, put in whether or not daylight savings is in effect.
Now I can scroll thru the posts to see if anything new has come up.

Bob,

Thanks for the tip with the time settings. Another way to see posts that you have not yet read is to go to forums marked with the Image icon. That means there are unread topics in that forum. Read topics are marked with the Image icon.

When you are in a forum where there are unread topics, each topic that has not been read has the Image icon below the title. Clicking on this icon will bring you to the first unread post in the topic.
