Your signature copper band should bear your signature! Maybe engraved? Maybe a picture of a greenhead or two, like Glynn Scobey used to do?

A friend showed me how to use these plumbing fixtures in brass - a different look. The brass turns on the lathe nicely

That is a nice idea Ed, I've seen something like that before done for ferrules.
