More fun turning on the lathe

Post by Kevin Sjostrand »

Another duck call. American Walnut with a copper band. Single reed, sleeved Brazilian Rosewood toneboard. Sounds pretty ducky too!
Dipped nitro lacquer, about 6 coats, sanded back and hand rubbed out with auto polish. If you are a hunter..........it is for sale!!!!!

Wow Kevin, they're really pretty. Didn't you make some tops a while back?

Here are a couple more recent calls. I'm getting the hang of it and they sound pretty good and consistent now.

1" water pipe Ed. Works great and inexpensive. Its kind of my signature, not many calls have copper bands on them.
