india is a different place but I bet you would like it. Come to Goa it is sort of like being in hawaii.

My husband's daughter, who passed away a year ago, spent most of her life traveling. She loved India and lived there for many years. She played the sitar so well, that she played it for dignitaries at the Indian Embassy. I always thought it was funny: a German playing the sitar for the Indian Embassy! LOL

Diane there are a lot of foreigners here especially in Goa, and especially Germans it seems. Many Russians also come here from November thru January for vacationing. Many of the seasonal restaurants have menus in English and russian. Have you ever considered building a sitar?
