I'm sorry Brian, I forgot to be more specific on the variety of the wood. I'm usually pretty good at providing as much information as I know. The specific species is Afzelia Xylocarpa and yes I know it's Latin but it's still Greek to me :-)

I've used Afzelia burl on my knife handles. A beautiful wood.
That was too hard, give us an easy smeasy one.
