Name that Wood

Post by David L »

A while back I ran a series where I posted pictures of various species of wood to test the member's ability to identify the species of wood. I thought it would be fun to run another series to test your skill (or luck) at this. We'll start off easy and progressively get more difficult. Hope you have fun with this as I do.

Tommy boy is correct, it is Maple Burl, told you it was an easy one but I'm warning you Mr. Smarty pants Tommy Boy If you give too many correct answers then I will have no choice but to ban you from answering on this series, don't think I won't, I have connections, I am good friends with the forum administrator Buddy!
(obviously my meager attempt at humor)

Stay tuned for the next installment of "Name That Wood" coming soon to Kit Guitars Forum

P.S. It will get tougher, this I can assure you as I have some pretty obscure samples of wood.

Thanks for playing guys!

I remember the game David, you came up with some stompers as I remember.
