Nylon tapping

Post by deadedith »

I need to tap some nylon washers to accept a 1/4x20 screw. What would I use to do that? This is a one-time deal so nothing elaborate, please :-)
Thanks

Late to the party, but I know anti-backlash nuts are made by heating a thread rod and screwing into Delrin -- the Delrin melts, once cool a perfect thread results -- just a thought.
