The opposite side of that coin: Customs seized 85 fakes that were shipping to individuals. I doubt they'll see their money or fake guitars. I know a musician who plays a counterfeit Martin on stage and says it is good guitar so he keeps it. I'd have the brand logos removed for sure. It bugs me that he's ok with it.
