Snakewood capture

Since you like pictures I thought I show you this.

Today I visited an antique furniture renovator. He was willing to sell me a piece of snakewood. Not cheap, but cheaper than buying four pieces snakewood binding from goodman guitars. And there is enough for making headplates and even some fretboards. Snooping around in woodshops pays off. Do visit floorstores and furnituremakers. They all have scraps they often are willing to give for free. Show them a guitar of yours and they will melt.

Just hoping this wood wants to bend.

Thanks for the tip Herman! That's a real nice piece of snakewood!
