I just finished a 10 day classical guitar course. Here is a fun video of the guitar being built.

Great video! Looks like a blast and, since Steven has built a couple of guitars before, I'll bet he got a lot out of the class.

Nice vid - but I am assuming that 10 days was pretty much full time work with a lot of careful scheduling (glue drying on one part while you work on something else). Heck, it takes me 10 days of part time work to build a neck alone and my finish schedule is a month and a half in itself.

Interesting to see a classical built in a mold instead of a solarea (sp) - I also used a mold when I built mine and had a heck of a time figuring out how to do the Spanish heel that way.

Last thing is that the correct tools help a lot, altho I was impressed by how much was done with hand tools - neck shaping and the slothead for instance. I'm curious about the neck relief - I assume it was planed into either the neck itself or the fretboard - but I didn't see any of that in the vid. Again, just that step probably took me 4 hours alone (a simple turn of the truss rod, so to speak).

Thanks for sharing
