Are there plans available for this body shape anywhere? I see that John has a mold available, but I'm wondering if anything else is available to support building this guitar. Thanks,

Darren

Hi Darren

KMG has two molds as well as the brace pattern template for the M/J. All the standard Martin brace configurations -- 1/4 or 5/16 -- scalloped or not will work and are offered on different factory models. Bill Cory's Martin stlye publication as well as KMG's on-line assembly manual could be used as a guide. Martin follows a fairly consistant base construction formula.

what is the side profile like? google can't seem to find body depth or top/back radius...

Ken, I'll check your molds out - I'm just dreaming up the next couple guitars. :)

Don't forget that the info posted includes the added thickness of the top and back.
