Does anyone have a piece of light colored curly or flamed maple that they would be willing to trade for, or sell?

I'd like to re-do my tail wedge with something that matches my binding a little better. I don't have any tonewoods laying around my house, other than what came with my kit. My kit included ivoroid, but I bought maple binding from lmi. A friend gave me a piece of maple to use for a tail wedge, but I didn't do a very good job installing the tail wedge the first time, and it is light-colored red maple. I thought I would give it a try. it's close, but it isn't a very good match.

The piece would need to be at least 1" x 5" x 1/8" to make the tail wedge and heel cap. Subtle figuring will work better than something that is outrageous.

I was wondering what you were asking me in the other thread...Sorry I didn't see this post until I remembered the thread just now. It's a lovely piece of maple but it didn't match the binding I had already put on the guitar. So I bought another piece of flamey maple for the end graft. I tried to use your spalted maple to do a small clover inlay with but it didn't work out too well. I still have most of it. I owe you one...it was very nice of you to send that.

Your 'deliverance' of the book to Wayne "MORE" than fulfills anything you could do for me. Thank you ever so much.
