Tail Block Higher than Sides

Hi, I'm just starting my first kit - a Stewmac Triple-0. I did the setup and dry clamping for the neck and tail blocks to the sides this afternoon. All looks good except the tail block is slightly more than 1/16th inch taller than the sides at the tail. Since everything else fits so accurately I wondered whether this was an issue or not. I imagine I could just glue it in proud as is and then sand it back when I fit the kerfed linings - does that sound ok?

Tim, My Stewmac OOO was the same. The tail bock was slightly proud of the sides. Check out the photos at the bottom of this page . I think you've followed the instructions correctly... You will sand down the block down to the sides when you start the sanding stick steps.
